I recently had the opportunity to present on Social Marketing to a small group of individuals.
What an amazing experience !
All the participants seemed to get the easy yet masterful concept of marketing social ideas as you would a product. I have to ask myself why isn't everyone doing it? Most seemed the leave with some what of an avenue to further pursue this concept.
I am preparing to embark on a bit of an experiment and I will have to update the blog as it moves along. It will be a personal goal to introduce these concepts to as many as will listen. One fascinating piece is that through endeavors such as these , communities can have actual growth. I will come at it as an adventure. Talking , emailing and selling important concepts as if my life depended on it. I will begin with a quote something catchy regarding inclusion and the potential each person has with the proper supports in place. The valuing and cherishing of each individual and their own ability. I will bring these ideas to the masses and will pray it grows and flourishes into a movement. Now I had discussed this many times before and was called idealistic and child like in spirit. Perhaps I will give it a time frame such as a year to see what can be accomplished with such diligence?
To the Nay Sayers all I can tell you is that if there was a driving force behind a thought or action and it took on a life of its own HOW FAR WOULD YOU GO?
